Yes, another list...
1. I have been in the weirdest funk the last week and a half. I'm not one to need a lot of friends, and I'm pretty good at entertaining myself. After awhile though, it gets old. I am in desperate need of a social group of some sort to go hang out with during the day. I love my daughter, but she isn't a super great conversationalist. And the one person I do know, is either working or sleeping. His new schedule is sucking MAJOR sand right now. Hopefully it'll get switched around in the next few months and I can actually have him home at normal times of the day. So really, I've been a little lonely. Last week I holed myself up in the house but ultimately decided that wasn't helping. So this week I'm making it a point to go at least one place a day. This week has been much better! And the weather has been wonderful, sunny and warm.
2. My girl is teething, and was a complete nightmare over the weekend. And I'm talking, complete. nightmare. I was reading up about it, to make sure my prediction was correct, and a few of the websites I read actually said "most kids sail through the teething process like champs" or something of that nature. Uhhh.. SO not my kid, and so not any other kid I've ever met. She seems to be doing better now, but the teeth haven't broken through the gum (I can see her bottom two teeth), so does that mean I have to go through this all again? Bugger for me, if that's the case. Well, and her too. I'm sure it probably hurts her more than me!
3. We've been actively looking for a house, and we think we might have found The One. We'll have a more concrete announcement next week...
4. Umm.. that's about it. I'm crossing my fingers that Jared has normal days off this week, and we can actually go do something fun!

Good for you for getting out of the house. I made myself do that last week. Now I'm back to being a shut in this week.
welcome to the ward :) haven't met you yet, but hope everything is going okay. Let us know if you need anything! We bought a house here too, so if you have any questions about that or anything we'd love to help (homeecrunner@aol.com)
I totally know the feeling. When Monty worked at Target I felt the same way. I'm sure things will get better. Oh, and soon J will be more interactive as well. Teething is horrible, but I've found the first teeth seem to be the hardest. At least for my boys. Or maybe I just got use to it after the first teeth came in? Anyway...good luck to both of you and can't wait to see your house. Fun times. How is your ward? How many kids? Young couples?
I know just how you feel- my first few months here were lonely too. I'm always home and you've got to visit teach me anyway so you're welcome to come over anytime!
Welcome to the ward. I haven't met you yet either, I am in the primary. I just wanted to let you know that if you go onto the library's website here in Memphis, they pull books from other locations from the area to put on hold for you. I had the same thought about the Cordova library the first time I went. However, I have come to realize the best way with kids is to have the books I want put on hold, so they can pull them from the other locations and just go in quick and pick them up from the Cordova location. Also, I am in charge of a book club in Memphis, let me know if you want to participate and I will send you all the info. Once again, welcome to the ward, sorry for such a long comment! HA!
I am so excited that you are in our ward and that I got to know you a little bit at the Klepko's house a couple weeks ago :) We should definitely get together sometime!
It would be hard to move. I am not great at making new friends, so I would probably be lonely too! And can't wait to hear about the house!
Come & Play with me girl!! Don't be sad! :) haha.
